Sell, consign, or trade your apparatus
A retired truck sitting behind the station is money your department isn't using. Tell us what you have and we'll come back with a number — usually within a couple of days, and never with a fee to ask.
Three ways to do it
| Option | Best when | How it works |
|---|---|---|
| We buy it | You want it gone and paid for now. | We inspect, make an offer, handle the title, and pick it up. Simple. |
| We consign it | You want the best price and can wait a bit. | We photograph it, list it here, market it to departments in seven states, and handle the buyer. You get paid when it sells, minus an agreed commission. |
| Trade it in | You're buying from us anyway. | Apply the value of the old truck or equipment straight to the new purchase. |
We also buy and take in trade SCBA, cylinders, compressors, fill stations, hose, nozzles, ladders, and loose equipment — anything a department upgrades away from.
What we'll ask for
Year, make, pump, tank, mileage, and a few photos: both sides, pump panel, cab, and the tank. Pump test and maintenance records if you have them. That's enough for a first number.
Surplus equipment too
Upgrading SCBA or a compressor? We take in the old units on trade and resell what's serviceable.
